Captain Amador has been selected March’s Firefighter of the Month for his outstanding display of individual initiative surpassing job requirements and expectations, specifically for his hard work and dedication to the department.
There is an incredible talent pool within the ranks of our Fire Department. On a recent flight he was on a fellow passenger became ill and went into cardiac arrest. He volunteered to assist and ran the code providing life saving interventions to the patient. His efforts and willingness to assist this person in their time of need deserves recognition.
Due to his outstanding work ethic and dedication to the Fire Department, Captain Amador is nominated for Firefighter of the month for March 2024.
