Congratulations to Brandon B. Boylan who holds the title of PT Emergency Management Coordinator Specialist, recipient of the “Part-Time Employee of the Quarter Award,” for the fourth quarter in 2022.

The nomination was submitted by Marc Stolzenberg, P/T Emergency Management Planner, who stated the following:
“It is my pleasure to nominate Brandon Boylan for the P/T Employee of the Quarter award. He initially was an intern from FIU and was a welcome addition to the Fire Departments Emergency Management division. Brandon is eager to assume responsibility and displays a positive work demeanor. He has made some key suggestions that appear beyond his level of experience. While creating Emergency Management presentations, he seems to be able to differentiate the potential audiences and create an effective message.
Brandon has recently been assigned to the emergency notification "EverBridge" project. Within a short time and self-driven initiative, Brandon has established open communication with the account manager and completed creating notification groups for city departments. During a recent city-wide notification, his attention to detail, identified a flaw in the visual distribution and took corrective actions prior to distribution.
Brandon's educational background in both Psychology and Emergency Management appear to be a strong asset to the department.”
