Captain Ovcarich has been selected January’s Firefighter of the Month for his outstanding display of individual initiative surpassing job requirements and expectations, specifically for his hard work and dedication to the department.
There is an incredible talent pool within the ranks of our Fire Department. Captain Ovcarich goes above and beyond his duties as a Captain. He is like the father of Station 1 B shift and takes care of his coworkers. He buys food off duty, makes sure the kitchen runs smoothly, runs the benevolent and many other tasks.
Due to his outstanding work ethic and dedication to the Fire Department, Captain Ovcarich is nominated for Firefighter of the month for January 2023.
