On October 2nd, 2022, the City entered into a Professional Services Agreement under the Procurement Officer’s authority, pursuant to Section 2-690 of the Procurement Code entitled “Professional Services Agreement Contract”. The contract was executed for plan review services with Fire Code Pro, Inc. which provides services that include Structural review services and plan commentary.
However, based on the number of projects and inability to recruit Structural engineers, it has become necessary to increase the spending authority on the contract to address on-going needs.
This increase will cover an additional $106,000, or not to exceed the available funds, in expenses during fiscal year 2022-2023 or until a new contract is awarded.
