The nomination was submitted by Evelin Barriel, Police Support Services Assistant, who stated the following:
“I would like to nominate Dairelis Rivero, Payroll Clerk for Employee of the Month. During the month of June 2022, the other Payroll Clerk of the Police Department became ill and had been approved for vacation. Mrs. Rivero was informed that she had to do payroll for the entire Police Department (about 300 employees) by herself. She worked tirelessly, staying late and resolving payroll issues as they arose, without any hesitation. Payroll was successfully finished, and all went well without a glitch thanks to her outstanding effort.”
