“I would like to nominate Sean Meadows, IT Applications Analyst I for Employee of the Month. The reason for my nomination is the immense help on bringing to life our Lobbyist web portal. Mr. Meadows has worked closely with the City Clerk’s Office on creating a website that many cities are clamoring to get their hands on. We brought an idea to Sean and he has brought it to life, more than we could have ever expected. Before the Lobbyist Portal, lobbyist would have to come into City Hall to pay and submit paperwork to represent an individual. We had folders of the paperwork collected over the years that we would itemize on an excel spreadsheet. The Lobbyist Portal created, sends automatic emails, registration to be completely online, payment through the portal and a tracking system that his more robust. This has brought the City into the 21st century when it comes to Lobbying. On the professional side, he resolves in analyzing and solving issues as they arise for Lobbyist Portal has been outstanding. There is never a time he tells me no or that he doesn’t have time. He always finds a way to find a solution to my problem or finds a work around. He has attained a tremendous skill to fulfill his duties as IT Applications Analyst I, which include but are not limited to conducting research with our department, providing us solutions to our complex IT issues and being actively involved in their resolution and implementation.
