Information Technology Department update on the next phase of the Coral Gables smart city broadband infrastructure projects, including: new fiber optics corridors, smart poles, city buildings network connectivity, and other cyberinfrastructure for telecommunications, public safety, mobility, and digital services for residents, businesses/entrepreneurs, and visitors. This presentation will go over project vision (hyperlocal and regional), strategic goals, and impact (quality of life, citizen services, digital inclusion, economic opportunities), as well as project plan (scope, phases, budget, engineering and design.)
