Coral Gables Fire Rescue is bringing awareness to World Stroke Day.

Each year 795,000 people in the U.S. experience a stroke.  The Coral Gables Fire Department is hoping to help members of the community who may be experiencing a Stroke by using the mnemonic FAST. Which is Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech, Time to call 911.

Coral Gables Fire Department continues to apply the most up-to-date evidence-based treatment guidelines and technologies such as Telemedicine to improve patient care and outcomes in our community.
