The City of Coral Gables is proud to recognize our sixth certified Coral Gables Green Business, Andromeda District.
Andromeda District <https://andromedadistrict.com/> is a company that specializes in the design and development of natural spaces. Their mission is to offer first class expertise in the installation of green living walls systems while promoting sustainability. All their plants are Florida grown and support the local agricultural sector at the same time creating jobs locally. Their offices/showroom is located at 1132 S Dixie Highway in Coral Gables.
Congratulations to Andromeda District for achieving Gold level Coral Gables Green Business Certification.
The Coral Gables Green Business Program was created in collaboration with the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce <https://coralgableschamber.org/> and the City’s Sustainability Advisory Board <https://www.coralgables.com/sab>. It aligns with the City’s sustainability goals of reducing energy, water, fuel consumption, and waste while increasing recycling efforts, alternative transportation and sustainability education and outreach. The goal of the program is to recognize and reward our local businesses for all their sustainability efforts while also educating them on additional actions they can implement. Together, the City of Coral Gables and our local businesses are creating a more resilient and sustainable Coral Gables for current and future generations.
