Firefighter Nicholas Martin has been selected June’s Firefighter of the Month for his outstanding display of individual initiative surpassing job requirements and expectations, specifically for his hard work and dedication to the department. Firefighter Martin has always gone above and beyond the expectations of what is required. He is a young aggressive Firefighter that is well on his way to becoming an excellent Firefighter. Firefighter Martin has taken several advanced Engine/Truck Company courses around the state and never misses an opportunity to enhance his skills. Firefight Martin selflessly shares the knowledge that he has gained with his Battalion. On Sunday May 16, he came in on your own time to conduct Battalion drills with A-Shift. Everyone found the training to be extremely worthwhile and are all better prepared to fight fire because of it. Firefighter Martin is responsible, dependable, and has such a positive attitude.
Due to his outstanding work ethic and dedication to the Fire Department Firefighter Nicholas Martin is nominated for Firefighter of the month for June 2021.
