Title

A Resolution authorizing an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 amended budget to recognize as revenue a $430,000.00 transfer from Storm Water Fund Balance, and to appropriate such funds to put toward the cost of storm water improvement projects; and providing an effective date.

Body

Over the previous 5 years, the Public Works Department has spent between $78,000 and $206,000 yearly to construct multiple citywide localized storm water improvement projects citywide. Recent rain events have identified additional unfunded needs. More specifically, the additional funds will be used for the design and construction of localized drainage improvements at multiple locations citywide including but not limited to Mendoza Avenue and Galiano Street, the 600 Block of Madeira, Granada Boulevard near Mall Street among others.

An amendment to the amended Fiscal Year 2020-2021 budget is required to recognize as revenue a $430,000 transfer from Storm Water fund balance, and to appropriate such funds to support the aforementioned capital improvement projects.
