Public artwork in the City’s collection requires a professional condition assessment, maintenance recommendations and schedule for ongoing care.
Three professional conservation and restoration professionals were approached and asked to submit bids for the assessment.
Two of the three professionals provided a complete breakdown of services and methods with staff recommending the lowest of the two bidders.
Funding for the public art maintenance assessment with Evergreene Architectural Arts is estimated at $8,169 and is being proposed through the art acquisition fund.
An amendment to the Adopted Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Budget is required to transfer the $8,169 from the Art in Public Places fund balance and appropriate such funds to put toward the project.
