Battalion Chief Thomas Harley like his father before him proudly served the City of Coral Gables for over 32 years. Unlike most employees, Chief Harley is also a proud resident of Coral Gables. Throughout Chief Harley’s career, he has held the ranks of Firefighter, Lieutenant, Captain, and Battalion Chief, serving with distinction in every capacity. Chief Harley has always been a proud member of the Coral Gables Fire Department but what Tom is most proud of is his family. Tom and his wife Barbara have been blessed with three children Elizabeth, Eleanor, and Thomas. Tom is always ready to share a story or two about his family especially, about his newest addition his grandson Park.
Chief Harley has had an exceptional career with the Coral Gables Fire Department, we wish him the best in his retirement.
