NEW BUSINESS:
a. PRE-QUALIFIED ARTIST REQUESTS - DANIEL BUREN, JULIO LARRAZ, KIKI SMITH, NICK ERVINCK
The Panel received pre-qualification materials for artists Daniel Buren, Julio Larraz, Kiki Smith and Nick Ervinck. Panel members reviewed the materials prior to the meeting and agreed that the artists presented meet the criteria. With no further discussion, the following motion was made:
Mr. Roselione-Valadez made a motion to accept Daniel Buren, Julio Larraz, Kiki Smith, and Nick Ervinck as pre-qualified artists. Mr. Mato seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
b. ART BASEL 2020 ARTIST
The Panel asked to defer this item to allow time for additional information.
OLD BUSINESS:
a. AIPP WAIVER REQUEST, THE PLAZA - MICHELE OKA DONER
Mr. Beckmann addressed the Panel, provided a brief update of The Plaza project and introduced artist Michele Oka Doner, who he invited to respond directly to the Panel in response to questions and comments from the previous meeting.
