A motion was made and seconded to approve the local historic designation of the Coral Gables Street Marker located at various street intersections throughout the City. (Ayes:7; Nays: 0)

SPECIAL CERTIFICATES OF APPROPRIATENESS:
1. CASE FILE COA (SP) 2019-016: An application for the issuance of a Special Certificate of Appropriateness for the property at 6500 Red Road, Local Historic Landmark, legally described as Lots 1 through 8 inclusive and Lots 34 through 40 inclusive and all of the alley Northwesterly and Adjacent to Lots 34 Thru 40, Less Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 8, thence Northwesterly 10 feet, thence South 14 feet, thence Northeasterly 10 feet to the Point of Beginning, Block 196, Coral Gables Riviera Section Part 14 Second Revised Plat, as recorded in Plat Book 28, at Page 32 of the Public Records of Miami-Dade County, Florida. The application requests design approval for the demolition of the Education Wing of the church complex.
