Driver Engineer Vincent Brown has been selected August’s Firefighter of the Month for his outstanding display of individual initiative surpassing job requirements and expectations. Driver Engineer Brown has always gone above and beyond the expectations of what is required. When cleaning and maintaining the Quint, Driver Engineer Brown will take the time to extend the outriggers and the ladder and ensure that every rung is cleaned, this is just one example of Driver Engineer Brown’s attention to detail. Driver Engineer Brown applies this same outstanding work ethic to all he does around the Fire Station and on Emergency and Non-Emergency calls. Throughout his 23-year career with the Coral Gables Fire Department Driver Engineer Brown has been a role model and mentor to others.
Due to his outstanding work ethic, leadership and dedication to the Fire Department Driver Engineer Brown is nominated for Firefighter of the month for August 2019.
