A Resolution accepting the recommendation of the Procurement Officer to award the Sanitary Sewer Cleaning and CCTV contract to UIT, LLC., the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, in the estimated amount of $160,950.00 for the initial two (2) year agreement, with three (3) one (1) year renewals, pursuant to Invitation for Bids (IFB) 2019-026 and Section 2-763 of the Procurement Code entitled “Contract Award”.

The purpose of this Invitation for Bids is to establish a contract with a successful contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, materials and expertise as required for the Cleaning & CCTV Inspection, grout laterals and sectional CIPP lining of Sanitary Sewer Lines in the City of Coral Gables, Florida.
On October 7, 2019, the Procurement Division of Finance formally advertised, issued and distributed the IFB for the Sanitary Sewer Cleaning and CCTV. Eighty (80) prospective bidders downloaded the IFB package from Public Purchase, the City’s web-based e-Procurement service.
On November 6, 2019, five (5) bids were received in response to the IFB 2019-026 from: Altair Environmental Group, LLC., Hinterland Group, Inc., National Water Main Cleaning Company, Shenandoah General Construction Company, and UIT, LLC.
The lowest responsive responsible bidder for this project was determined to be UIT, LLC. in the estimated initial amount of $160,950.00 for the initial two (2) year term. The Public Works Department and the Procurement Officer recommend awarding the sanitary Sewer Cleaning and CCTV contract to UIT, LLC.
