Body

At a budget workshop on July 9, 2019, the City Commission adopted a tentative millage rate for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 of 5.559; unchanged from the 5.559 rate adopted for Fiscal Year 2018-2019.  The tentative millage rate of 5.559 was used by the Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser to prepare the 2019 Notice of Proposed Property Taxes that was sent to the Coral Gables property owners as a notification of their potential property taxes, as well as the date, time and place of the first public hearing to discuss the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Annual Budget.  The date, time and place of the second public hearing was included in the “Notice of Proposed Tax Increase” advertised on Monday, September 16, 2019 in the main section of the Miami Herald, as well as in the display case in the main entrance of City Hall.
