Ms. Elejabarrieta advised Board regarding Mr. Shedrick Boren’s resignation via email.
Copies of email (Exhibit 1) provided by Mr. Manuel Guerrero, Adult Activity Assistant Supervisor - Coral Gables Adult Activity Center advising detailed information regarding
services being provided at center was distributed to all members and same was discussed.
A City for All Awards Application
Board was given copy of application (Exhibit 2) which will be utilized during the nomination process for the Business Awards program.
Supper Club - Update
Ms. Dietz advised Board number of participants has increased with the assistance of other entities who have shared their information with their patrons.
Social Club - Update
Ms. Blaire provided update to Board regarding Social Club. Ms. Blaire advised they are working on bringing in various resources at future meetings such as a visit
from therapy dogs and the possibility of commencing a parent support group as well.
Ms. Mary Palacio-Pike - advised Board of upcoming Nintendo SMASH Brothers competition which is geared toward young adults with disabilities.
