Founded in 1972, Dade Heritage Trust is Miami-Dade County’s largest preservation organization. The mission of DHT is to preserve Miami-Dade County’s architectural, environmental, and cultural heritage through preservation, education and advocacy efforts.
The 2019 Dade Heritage Trust Annual Historic Preservation Awards were announced on Tuesday, April 11 at the Annual Meeting which was held at the historic Scottish Rite Temple in City of Miami. The City of Coral Gables received two preservation awards:
• Restoration of the Coral Gables Merrick House
• Restoration of the Historic Biltmore Golf Course Bridges
