Body

The City of Coral Gables solicited proposals to engage a qualified firm (Proposer) to provide consulting services for the Fred B. Hartnett Ponce Circle Park Re-Design project, pursuant to Florida Statue 287.055 “Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA).

On February 7, 2019, a non-mandatory pre-qualification conference was held with fifteen (15) prospective proposers in attendance of the eighty-two (82) prospective proposers who downloaded the RFQ package from Public Purchase, the City’s web-based e-Procurement service.

On March 5, 2019, ten (10) firms submitted proposals in response to the RFQ: Bermello Ajamil & Partners, Inc., Chen Moore & Associates., CPH, Inc., Curtis & Rogers Design Studio, Inc., Fernandez- Beraud, Inc., Gurri Matute P.A., Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc., R.E. Chisholm Architects, Inc., Savino & Miller Design Studio, PA. and Urban Robt Associates Inc.

On April 4, 2019, the Evaluation Committee convened to evaluate the ten (10) responsive proposals and recommended an award of the RFQ to Urban Robot Associates Inc. the highest ranked proposer, and to negotiate a Professional Service Agreement.

The Evaluation Committee further recommended that should negotiations fail with the most responsive-responsible proposer, negotiations commence with the next most responsive-responsible proposer (up to the third proposer) until an Agreement satisfactory to the City has been reached.
