A Resolution accepting the recommendation of the Procurement Officer to waive the competitive bid process of the Procurement Code and purchase the MobileEyes Annual Maintenance as a “Special Procurement/Bid Waiver”, pursuant to Sections 2-585 and 2-691 of the City’s Procurement Code.

MobileEyes Inspector and Inspector Plus provides public safety support for inspection processes by City Fire operations. As a product and solution of Tyler Technologies (TradeMaster, Inc.), MobileEyes provides best of class capability for Fire Inspectors to document conformance for life safety, code enforcement, OSHA, sprinkler, alarms, EOC and other requirements of commercial building systems.
MobileEyes is the City’s current Fire Inspection software and hosted platform in use by the Fire Department. This system allows Fire Inspectors in the field to manage their annual inspection schedule. MobileEyes support a mobile workforce and their business process. Inspectors track their workload, code compliance, exceptions, delinquency, fire alarm certifications, and other requirements in the commercial domain for comprehensive fire safety. Information gathered during inspections is saved and stored to the MobileEyes cloud platform. From there, reports are generated and delivered to Finance to update records pertaining to commercial licenses for businesses operating in the City.
MobileEyes is the sole source provider of support and maintenance of the MobileEyes software
For the abovementioned reasons and continuity of operations, we recommend the implementation of the MobileEyes Inspector and Inspector Plus yearly maintenance and support for the City’s as per the attached sole source letter.
