Major Atherley began his career with the City Beautiful as a Police Recruit in February 1994 and later became a Police Officer in September 1994. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in October 2001, rank of Lieutenant in June 2006 and most recently to the rank of Major in June 2017, a position he holds to date.
The City recognizes Major Atherley’s twenty-five years of service.
