“I am nominating Donna Johnson for the recognition of Employee of the Month. Donna has been an exemplary employee of our department. She stays focus on her tasks and makes sure vendor payments are completed timely and in accordance with City rules and regulations. On a daily basis, I observe the way she deals with co-workers, vendor representatives and general public with professionalism and respect. She exhibits attention to details, maintains files and records organized and just overall quality in her job performance. One thing that I admire with Donna is her being proactive in following up on issues and pending documentation to resolve a matter and ultimately provide quality service to our vendors and citizens. She does not hesitate in expressing herself well and in pointing out and recommending solutions to ensure payments are in compliance with City rules and regulations. I am sure that every department can attest that Donna has been "running" our Accounts Payable Division very smoothly and has positive experience working with her. She has been a dedicated employee of the City for the last 25 years and I am fortunate that she came back as full-time employee again after she retires. Overall, she continues to demonstrate dedication on her job, provide excellent customer service and positive relationship with her coworkers. Our department is fortunate to have her in our team.”
