A Resolution authorizing the granting of a perpetual easement to the Florida Department of Transportation and the execution of two temporary license agreements on parcels located along State Road 5/US 1/South Dixie Highway, in connection with roadway improvements from Riviera Drive to City of Miami limits, Coral Gables, Florida.
Body
The granting of a perpetual easement on Parcel 800 (legally described in Exhibit “A”) to FDOT is required in order to accommodate certain improvements. The improvement to be included in the subject perpetual easement consists of sidewalks.
The overall project consists of repaving and restriping the roadway, upgrading sidewalks and pavement markings, improving traffic and pedestrian signals, lighting and signage and adjusting manholes.
In addition, FDOT is requesting the execution of two license agreements to provide temporary access to facilitate construction of some of the improvements adjacent to two City-owned parcels, (parcel 902 R at 225 Florida Avenue and parcel 903 R at 220 Frow Avenue), located along State Road 5/US 1/South Dixie Highway in connection with roadway project from Riviera Drive to City of Miami limits, Coral Gables, Florida.
This request abides, by Section 337.29 of the Florida Statues and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Right-of-Way Procedures for acquiring right-of-way from local governmental agencies.
