Title

A Resolution of the City Commission of Coral Gables, Florida, amending Ordinance 2015-17, as amended, to revise the Alarm User section of the Fee Schedule; providing for a severability clause, and an effective date.

Body

On June 16, 2015, the City Commission adopted Ordinance 2015-17 that restated and amended city-wide fees, licenses, permits, services and penalties. Since that time, the City has made periodic updates, which are reflected in this updated Fee Schedule.

 

The attached (pages 81-82) corrects and clarifies certain items on the fee schedule associated with the Alarm System Registration process and False Alarms.  It eliminates the annual renewal recording fee and simplifies the late charges for failure to pay the false alarm fee.  Additionally, the resolution changes the registration period from a calendar year to a fiscal year to better match other operations of the City.
