The Coral Gables Fire Department has been recognized by the Insurance Service Office (ISO) as a Class-1 Fire Department.  There are only 241 Class-1 Fire Departments out of 10,000 departments nationwide.  The Coral Gables Fire Department has successfully maintained an ISO Class-1 Rating since 1992.
