General discussion about future Board of Adjustment meeting schedule.
Motion made by Mr. Thomson, seconded by Mr. Galvez: Future meetings should be scheduled on first Monday of each quarter, and monthly if needed by pending requests.
Passed unanimously.
Staff will prepare a calendar of future meetings.
Item 1. Discussion. Proposed Tree Ordinance
Staff presentation of Tree Ordinance. New appeal process to be administered by Board of Adjustment.
General discussion of ordinance provisions, including mitigation, variances and authority of the Board of Adjustment. Discussion on notice and recommendation to inform neighbors of pending appeals.
Consensus that the proposed process would be beneficial for Coral Gables.
