Body
One of the purposes of the Cultural Development Board is to promote cultural events and make recommendations to the City Commission on requests for funding of cultural and community organizations.
Conditions of this purpose include establishing guidelines and evaluation of cultural and community organization funding requests.
On May 02, 2017, the Cultural Development Board made the following motion recommending $200,000 for FY2017-2018 Cultural Grant funds and recommended a percent increase per year as follows:
Ms. Burgos made a motion to recommend $200,000 for FY2017-2018 Cultural Grant funding with a recommendation to increase the allocated amount by 10% every year thereafter. Mr. Perez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. (5-0)
