SPECIAL CERTIFICATES OF APPROPRIATENESS:
CASE FILE COA (SP) 2017-002: An application for the issuance of a Special Certificate of Appropriateness for the property at 200 Edgewater Drive, a Local Historic Landmark, legally described as Lot 4 & Lot 6 of Resubdivision of a portion of Baker
Homestead, according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 80, Page 15, of the Public Records of Miami-Dade County, Florida AND the East 30.5 Feet of Tract 6 and the West 33.5 Feet of Tract 7, Less the North 31 Feet thereof, of Baker
Homestead, according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 41, Page 38, of the Public Records of Miami-Dade County, Florida. The application requests design approval for an addition and alterations to the garage building and sitework.

A motion was made and seconded to approve with staff recommendations (as stated in the written report) the design proposal for the alterations and additions to the residence at 200 Edgewater Drive and allowing the new garage doors to match the existing garage doors. (Ayes: 6, Nays: 0)

CASE FILE COA (SP) 2017-003: An application for the issuance of a Special Certificate of Appropriateness for the property at 516 Navarre Avenue, a Local Historic Landmark, legally described as Lots 8 and 9, Block 14, Coral
Gables Section “B,” according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 5, at Page 111 of the Public Records of Miami-Dade County, Florida. The application requests design approval for additions and alterations to the residence and sitework. A variance
has been requested from Article 4, Section 4-101 (D) 4 b of the Coral Gables Zoning Code for the overall side setbacks.
