On an annual basis, the City Manager prepares and submits to the City Commission a Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for the upcoming fiscal year (2017) and the four subsequent fiscal years (2018-2021). The CIP is a comprehensive Plan that addresses short term and long term regulatory, structural, maintenance, quality of life and beautification needs.
The projects included in the 2017-2021 CIP have an estimated aggregate cost of $201,838,915. This cost is made up of prior years’ expenditures of $46,718,866, prior year available balance forward of $64,049,099, Fiscal Year 2017 committed funding of $18,669,835 and Fiscal Years 2018 to 2021 projected funding of $72,401,115.
