Congratulations to Lt. Rick Legra, recipient of the City of Coral Gables “Firefighter of the Month Award,” for the month of August, 2016.

Lt. Rick Legra has been selected August’s Firefighter of the Month for his meritorious display of job performance and his excellence in conduct, specifically for the special attention he gave to the probationary firefighters ensuring that they were properly assimilated into the department, as well as, for his leadership role in the new radio implementation for the department.
Lt. Legra’s proactive and “can do” mindset has served the department well, and we are proud to have him as part of the Fire Department and as a dedicated employee of the City of Coral Gables.
