Title

A Resolution accepting the recommendation of the Chief Procurement Officer to approve continuing contracts for an initial two (2) year period, with an option to renew for one (1) additional two (2) year period, with negotiations with Hazen & Sawyer, P.C., 300 Engineering, PA., AECOM Technical Services, Inc., and  CDM Smith, Inc., for  Environmental and Engineering Consulting Services, pursuant to Florida Statute 287.055, known as the “Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act,” and Request for Qualifications (RFQ) 2015.09.04.

Body

On January 12, 2016, the City Commission authorized negotiations with the following firms as a result of the RFQ process: Hazen & Sawyer, P.C., 300 Engineering, PA., AECOM Technical Services, Inc., and CDM Smith, Inc., to determine compensation that will be paid under continuing contracts with the City.

 

The purpose of these continuing contracts is to provide environmental engineering consulting services necessary for sanitary sewer, environmental and storm water utility projects.   Construction projects assigned under these continuing contracts will not exceed $2,000,000 nor will a study exceed $200,000 pursuant to Florida Statute 287.055, known as the “Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act.”

 

The Procurement Division of Finance and the Public Works Department have completed their negotiations as to compensation, terms, and conditions under continuing contracts with Hazen & Sawyer, P.C., 300 Engineering, PA., AECOM Technical Services, Inc., and  CDM Smith, Inc., resulting in the attached contracts.

 

The Chief Procurement Officer in consultation with the Public Works Director recommends that continuing contracts with Hazen & Sawyer, P.C., 300 Engineering, PA., AECOM Technical Services, Inc., and  CDM Smith, Inc. be approved.
