A Resolution accepting the recommendation of the Chief Procurement Officer, to approve continuing contracts for an initial two (2) year period, with an option to renew for one (1) additional two (2) year period, with negotiations with Ferguson Glasgow Schuster Soto, Inc., Gurri Matute, P.A., MC Harry Associates, RJ Heisenbottle Architects, and AECOM Technical Services, Inc., for Architectural Consulting Services, pursuant to Florida Statute 287.055, known as the “Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act,” and Request for Qualifications (RFQ) 2015.09.17

On January 12, 2016, the City Commission authorized negotiations with the following firms as a result of an RFQ process: Ferguson Glasgow Schuster Soto, Inc., Gurri Matute, P.A., MC Harry Associates, RJ Heisenbottle Architects and AECOM Technical Services, Inc., to determine compensation that will be paid under continuing contracts with the City.
The purpose of these continuing contracts is to provide architectural consulting services necessary for architectural and engineering design services, project management, contracting and sourcing, cost analysis and schedule planning, design services for furniture fixtures and equipment, construction contract administration, site analysis consultation, landscaping architecture, site planning, sustainable design, code analysis, public art, project reviews, and occupancy planning. Construction projects assigned under these continuing contracts will not exceed $2,000,000 nor will a study exceed $200,000 pursuant to Florida Statute 287.055, known as the “Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act.”
The Procurement Division of Finance and the Public Works Department have completed their negotiations as to compensation, terms, and conditions under continuing contracts with Ferguson Glasgow Schuster Soto, Inc., Gurri Matute, P.A., MC Harry Associates, RJ Heisenbottle Architects and AECOM Technical Services, Inc., resulting in the attached contracts.
