Title

A Resolution authorizing a change order of the Country Club Prado Landscape Improvements contract with VisualScape, Inc. in the amount of $480,045, under the same Schedule of Values and terms and conditions as the Country Club Prado contract, pursuant to Section 2-829, approval of change orders and contract modifications, to provide landscape improvement at the following acquired passive parks, Lisbon Park, Durango Triangle Park and Enrique “Henry” Cepero Memorial Park.

Body

The development of passive parks was approved as part of the Neighborhood Renaissance Program.  Preliminary design work has been completed for the following three parks: Lisbon, Durango, and Enrique “Henry” Cepero Memorial.  Community meetings have been conducted at each location, where residents have reviewed preliminary designs. The feedback provided at these meetings and ideas about what they would like to see in their respective park will be incorporated as part of this change order. The development and construction of each park includes site preparation, lighting, seating, landscaping, and other amenities that reflect the character and spirit of each of these unique spaces.  Authorization of the change order to this existing landscape improvement contract will expedite the construction schedule so that work can begin this Spring, as planned.
