A Resolution authorizing the execution of a Memorandum of Agreement with The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to maintain landscape and irrigation within the medians along SR 953/LeJeune Road, from Majorca Avenue to Almeria Avenue.

Body

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be constructing safety improvements along LeJeune Road from Majorca Avenue to Almeria Avenue. FDOT has offered inclusion of upgraded landscaping, within proposed medians, if the City of Coral Gables agrees to maintain the landscaping and irrigation within the limits of the project.  This agreement will allow the City to have attractive landscaped and irrigated medians along LeJeune Road.
