A Resolution amending Resolution No. 2011-147 of the Arts Advisory Panel, increasing membership and designating City staff.
Body
The City Commission established the Arts Advisory Panel for the purpose of making recommendations to the Cultural Development Board regarding the selection, creation, and acceptance of works of art. In addition, the Arts Advisory Panel may be called upon by the Cultural Development Board to act as an artist selection committee, and to provide other artistic guidance as the Cultural Development Board determines is necessary.
In response to City Commission feedback and department restructuring, this Resolution amendment increases the number of Arts Advisory Panel members and reflects the change of City administrative staff to the Historical Resources and Cultural Arts department.
Please see below a summary of recommended changes to the Resolution:
• Increase membership of the Arts Advisory Panel from five (5) to seven (7).
• Change the Administrative Staff Support to the Historical Resources and Cultural Arts department.
