Title
An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2010-11, renaming the Green Task Force, decreasing membership, membership qualifications, broadening the purpose; and providing for a repealer provision, severability clause, codification, and providing for an effective date.
Body
The Green Task Force was established by Ordinance No. 2010-11 on July 13, 2010 for the purpose of promoting environmental sustainability for the City, which is a way of living and conducting business to ensure a quality of life for the future of Coral Gables. · Development of the Sustainability Master Plan.
· Development of the Transportation and Sustainability Division within Public Works.
· Implementation of Cardboard recycling.
· Recommendation to join the Ygrene Initiative that provides 100% financing to commercial and residential property owners for energy efficiency, renewable energy, and water conservation improvements.
