Title
A Resolution naming the triangular park at 4600 San Amaro Drive, Coral Gables, Florida in memory of Enrique "Henry" Cepero.
Body
The Cepero family has resided at 4705 Alhambra Circle since 1989. Enrique "Henry" Cepero was the oldest of three sons of Serapio and Ana Cepero. Henry spent the majority of his life growing up in Coral Gables where he met many of his life-long friends who also resided in the same Coral Gables neighborhood. Henry and his friends would spend their free time riding their bikes through the beautifully canopied streets, playing tennis at the local City courts or just hanging out at the local coffee shops and movie theaters.

Henry went on to receive his Ph.D. in Immunology and Microbiology from the University of Miami in 2003. While at U.M. Henry met his wife-to-be, Jennifer McCafferty-Cepero, who was completing her own post-doctorate at U.M. During his graduate career, Henry was recognized for his outstanding work through numerous awards, such as the NIH Minority Pre Doctoral Fellowship, American Association of Cancer Research Minority Scholar, and the Best Research Award granted by the Medical Faculty Association. Within the same year of graduating from U.M., Henry was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma. Throughout his fight with cancer, Henry remained very active and dedicted to his post-doctoral work in cancer research. Despite the obstacles in his path, he continued to live his life to the fullest.

In 2006 Henry and Jennifer were expecting twin girls. They had every intention of raising their family in Coral Gables. Unfortunately, Henry never had the opportunity to meet his twins. On November 4, 2006, Henry passed away at the early age of thirty-three. His twin girls were born just eleven days later. Jennifer and the twins, Ana and Nina, followed through with his dream of living in Coral Gables.
