Firefighter Rick Legra has been selected April's Firefighter of the Month for his outstanding display of individual initiative, specifically his "can do" attitude and dedication to the department. Firefighter Legra is always looking for ways to improve the department and takes it upon himself to make repairs and improvements to our stations without seeking recognition. On his own initiative, time, and expense, he constructed a rack to hold bunker gear and radios. His concern and commitment for this Fire Department is commendable and we are fortunate to have him in our department.
