A Resolution accepting the recommendation of the Chief Procurement Officer to award the Granada Golf Course Renovation Project contract to Jed L. Taylor Contractors, Inc. pursuant to Invitation For Bids (IFB) 2015.02.27, and Section 2-828 of the Procurement Code entitled "Contract Award".
Body
This project involves restoration improvements to the Granada Golf Course. The scope of work for this project shall consist of but not limited to: mobilization of equipment and supplies, turf elimination and rototill, earthwork, rough shaping, golf course green drainage, green construction, tee construction, bunker construction, fine shaping, grassing and clean up.
On February 27, 2015, the Procurement Division of Finance formally advertised, issued, and distributed the Granada Golf Course Renovation Project IFB 2015.02.27. On March 10, 2015, a non-mandatory pre-bid conference was held with six (6) prospective bidders in attendance of the sixteen (16) prospective bidders who obtained the IFB package from the Procurement Division.
On March 31, 2015, one (1) bid was received in response to Granada Golf Course Renovation IFB 2015.02.27 from Jed L. Taylor Contractors, Inc.
The sole responsible responsive bidder for this project was determined to be Jed L. Taylor Contractors, Inc. with a total bid of $493,102.16
The Public Works Department and the Consultant concur with the recommendation to award Jed L. Taylor Contractors, Inc. the Granada Golf Course Renovation project.
