Title
Update on the Granada Golf Course Improvement Project.
Body
In the 2014-2015FY Capital Improvement Program budget, the City Commission approved funding in the amount of $910,000 for the Granada Golf Course Improvement project. Staff has proceeded to move this project forward.

The project is divided into three phases:

Phase 2 includes the replacement of the rain shelters and reconfiguring of the cart paths. The City will be using the services of Metro Express Inc., our continuing services contractor, to reconfigure the cart paths and install the necessary infrastructure for the rain shelters during the 90 day closure mentioned above. The rain shelters will be procured under a separate solicitation. Final plans for this phase should be completed in April. It is anticipated that the rain shelters installation will be completed by the spring of 2016.

Phase 3 includes a master plan discussion for the golf course area. This phase includes the possibility of a pedestrian network around the golf course, including resting areas, placement of approximately 300 palms, and consideration of possible lighting for the banyan tr...
