Resolution ratifying a one-day permit to the United Way of Miami-Dade to sell alcoholic beverages on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Village of Merrick Park on San Lorenzo Avenue during the Miami Wine and Food Festival, subject to Florida Department of Professional Regulation requirements.

Brief History
The Miami Food and Wine Festival event has been in existence for the past nineteen years. This year it will be held at the Village of Merrick Park. The event consists of 70 wineries and 40 restaurants; each has a booth to serve wine and food to guests. There will be live music by a band. All proceeds go to the United Way of Miami-Dade.
This event has been reviewed by the City's Special Event Committee.
