(Tertiary) as the three most responsive and responsible bidders for Licensed Electrical Contractor Services pursuant to Section 2-763 of the Procurement Code entitled “Contract Award” and Invitation for Bids (IFB) 2024-011.

The purpose of this IFB is to contract with a qualified and experienced bidder to provide hourly rates for licensed electrical services citywide on as-needed basis.
On March 26, 2024, the Procurement Division of Finance formally advertised, issued and distributed IFB 2024-011 Licensed Electrical Contractor. Seventy (70) prospective bidders were notified through INFOR, the City’s web-based e-Procurement system.
On April 26, 2024, five (5) bids were received including one (1) no bid in response to the IFB: AGC Electric, Inc., Computer Electric, Inc., KNL, Inc., R & D Electric, Inc., and Universal Electric of Florida, Inc.
The responses were reviewed by the Procurement Division in order to determine responsiveness to the requirements of the IFB. The Procurement Division finalized its’ due diligence process and confirmed that AGC Electric, Inc., Computer Electric, Inc., R & D Electric, Inc., were responsive to the requirements of the IFB and are responsible firms.
The Public Works Division concurs with the Chief Procurement Officer’s recommendation to award AGC Electric, Inc. (Primary), R & D Electric, Inc. (Secondary) and Computer Electric, Inc. (Tertiary) as the three most responsive and responsible bidders for Licensed Electrical Contractor Services for a three (3) year term contract with option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods, in an amount not to exceed the available budget.
