Firefighter Xavier Jones has been selected September’s Firefighter of the Month for his meritorious display of job performance, specifically by his role as the Project Manager for the Accreditation Peer Assessment. During the department’s reaccreditation process, Firefighter Jones kept everyone in the department on task in a professional manner as well as worked effectively with the other City departments and outside entities to obtain the necessary documentation. His diligent attention to detail and focus on the outcome provided for a professional presentation that exemplified the tradition of excellence that is the Coral Gables Fire Department.
