Biscayne Engineering, on behalf of the property owner, FAIRCHILD TROPICAL BOTANIC GARDEN, INC., is requesting authorization for an outside sewer connection to the City’s sanitary sewer district to serve an existing building within the property (Davis House). The building is located at 10901 Old Cutler Road, Coral Gables, Florida and it shall be subject to the requirements of the Public Work Department, as set forth in Chapters 62 and 78 of the City Code, Ordinance No. 2007-29, and No. 2009-39 and Resolution No. 2008-07.

The property is located outside City’s sewer service area and a new gravity sewer lateral will be installed to serve the project. As per Miami-Dade Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources (RER), the serving receiving pump station 03-Rovino shall have sufficient capacity for the proposed project and all downstream pump stations, including the treatment plant, have capacity at this time.

The request consists of a sewer extension for a proposed private system discharging through proposed lateral line connecting into City’s gravity main along Campana Avenue.

The property owner agrees to comply with the terms outlined in Ordinance Nos. 2007-29 and 2009-39 (City Code Section 78-106), and Resolution No. 2008-07 and enter into an agreement, according to FAIRCHILD TROPICAL BOTANIC GARDEN, INC.'s Letter of Agreement, to be approved by the City Attorney.
