Congratulations to Amario J. Jara who holds the title of P/T Producer/Editor/Videographer, recipient of the “Part-Time Employee of the Quarter Award,” for the second quarter in 2022.

The nomination was submitted by Martha Pantin, Director of Communications and Public Affairs, who stated the following:
“Amario is a videographer/producer. He has greatly improved his photography skills and is the go-to person for photography. As a result, we are able to complete/handle projects in house such as the official Commission and Appointed Officials photo. He has also undertaken special projects such as the Fire Department Personnel Yearbook, The Capitol Projects Photography and the Merrick House. Handling these projects in-house helps the City save money while not affecting the quality and, the most important part is that he has a great attitude when working with others. He is creative, eager to learn new skills and looks for solutions. For example, when he noticed an issue with some of the meetings with presentations, he looked to find a solution. Amario understands that we are a service department and that we need to treat others as our clients.”
