Transportation Advisory Board Meeting of January 19, 2021.

Peter Wood motioned to approve the December 2020 meeting minutes. The motion was seconded by Sue Kawalerski, voted upon, and adopted unanimously by the Board.
Discussion Items:
1. Commission Meeting items.
2. Ponce Park & CRAFT section Crafts Section.
Based on the residents’ opinions, Sue Kawalerski motioned to oppose the elimination of the slip lane for the Ponce Park Tower that will result in traffic backing up and vehicles flowing into residential streets. Dr. Sokoloff and Kevin Mace voted in favor. Peter Wood and Nick Barshel vote against.
Kevin Mase motioned to oppose the proposed changes to the zoning code and land use designation that that will allow the developer to build from 7 to 17 stories, which will increase density and result in increased traffic. Sue Kawalerski seconded the motion. The motion was voted upon and adopted unanimously by the board.
