Insurance Advisory Committee Meeting of March 16, 2009
Body
1. The minutes of the October 27, 2008 meetings were approved as final minutes.
2. The Insurance Advisory Committee sat as the evaluation committee for the Risk Management and Insurance brokerage services RFP #2009.0105 and discussed the proposals made for Property, Casualty, and Ancillary coverages.
3. Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc. presented their response to the RFP first, then AON Risk Services, Inc. presented, and Brown and Brown chose not to attend.
4. The Committee voted to recommend awarding the casualty brokerage to Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services Inc. for three (3) years with two (2) additional two (2) year renewal options.
5. The Committee voted to recommend awarding AON Risk Services Inc. of Florida the property brokerage for three (3) years with two (2) additional two (2) year renewal options.
6. The Committee voted to recommend authorizing staff to issue the appropriate broker of record letters to sign the most competitive ancillary coverages to AON Risk Services Inc. of Florida and Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services Inc.
