A Resolution of the City Commission declaring that Coral Gables is a Green Light for Veterans City and illuminated City Hall with visible green lighting on November 11th in observance of Operation Green Light for Veterans.

The Coral Gables community is known for having great respect, admiration, and gratitude for all of the men and women who have selflessly served our country and this community as members of the United States Armed Forces. The City of Coral Gables recognizes the sacrifices made by veterans and active-duty military personnel in service to our country and is committed to expressing gratitude and respect for their dedication and sacrifice.

 

Operation Green Light for Veterans is a nationwide initiative aimed at honoring and showing support for veterans and active-duty military personnel and one of the symbolic ways to show support for veterans and active-duty military personnel during Operation Green Light for Veterans is by illuminating public and private buildings with visible green lighting.

 

This display of green lighting is a gesture of unity and appreciation, symbolizing the community's commitment to supporting veterans and active-duty military personnel. 

 

City Hall was illuminated in green lighting on November 11th in observance of Operation Green Light for Veterans.
